Four months might feel like a long time but when you’re planning a wedding that goes past in a flash. If you’ve got just 16 short weeks until your nuptials we’ve got some beauty and wellness tips you should start following now to ensure you look and feel your best when your big day rolls round.
There are a lot of decisions you have to make in the run up to your wedding but wondering whether you want to look amazing takes no thought at all.
Whether you’re a 30-something first time bride or at 60 it’s your second trip down the aisle you will want to feel fabulous.
But it doesn’t have to be all about the hair and the makeup on the big day because investing in your wellbeing ahead of time can make a huge difference come your wedding.
In fact with four months to go there’s still plenty of time to give your mind and body the boost it needs.
Start a skincare regime
A consistent skincare regime will give you glowing skin in time for your trip down the aisle. It doesn’t have to be a time consuming 10-step regime either. With the right products it can be pretty short and sweet. Ensure you always take off your makeup before bed to avoid bacteria build up and breakouts. Then invest in some Lumity’s Skin Nutrients Facial Oil.
After cleansing in the morning, massage a few drops of this all-natural oil into your skin and do the same at night. Within a few weeks you’ll notice smoother, firmer and more supple skin on your face, neck and chest.
Don’t forget the SPF either, even when the sun isn’t shining.
Improve your diet
There’s every chance if you’re a bride-to-be that you’ve embarked on a diet already. But if you’re looking for a way to lose the pounds and keep them off then a healthy balanced diet is your best bet. This means cutting out processed foods – your skin will definitely benefit from this too – and eating plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. Try to reduce your sugar intake and fuel your body with plenty of healthy proteins and whole grains rather than refined carbohydrates which won’t give you the long lasting energy you need.
It’s never too late to get active. Fitting exercise into your daily routine isn’t just good for your physique it’s great for your health.
If you’re already working out, keep it up and if you haven’t got into the exercise groove yet, start now.
Find something you love doing as it’ll help you stay consistent. It could be something as simple as walking. If you’re worried you don’t have time to get to the gym then use a fitness app at home and fit in some exercise when you can.
Make me-time with meditation
Planning a wedding is stressful and you’re no doubt doing this on top of a million other things too. To help keep your stress levels in check why not start meditating? Even fitting just 10-minutes of meditation into your day can help ease any anxiety you might be feeling.
Unsure of how to do it? Follow this guide to meditating when you’re not a mediating sort of person.
Start taking Lumity Day and Night Supplements
Lumity Day and Nighttime Supplements are a powerhouse of nourishment for you. Just like all the best lifestyle changes it’ll take roughly 12 weeks before you truly feel and see the changes in your wellbeing. But since it takes just a few seconds to take the capsules morning and night they’re a pretty simple addition to your regime.
They’ll boost your vitality and help give you the best possible hair, nails and skin for your wedding.
Just remember they don’t work if you don’t remember to take them! Put them next to your toothbrush or on your beside table so you don’t forget.
Get your beauty sleep
We all know we need sleep to function at our peak but it’s not always easy, especially if you’ve got wedding planning on the brain. If you’ve become a night owl, who sits up until the early hours making seating plans you are putting your good looks and your health at risk. Work on resetting your circadian rhythm, putting away the electrical devices ahead of bedtime and establishing a calming nighttime routine.
Cut out alcohol and caffeine before bed and perhaps practice a little of that meditation you’re getting into!
